Ramadan 2017 has come to an end and marks the beginning of the month of shawwal. The first day of shawwal represent the eid festive celebration which is observed by almost every Muslim around the globe. Here are some important recommendations to do according to sunnah of the prophet;

  • Perform ghusul (ritual bath) before heading for the eid prayer.
  • Spray perfume and beautify your self.
  • Prepare and eat your breakfast before heading for eid prayer.
  • The eid payer can only be prayed in congregation, so do not miss it.
  • Recite the takbeer as you set for the mosque;
            Allahu Akbar  Allahu Akbar Laillaha Illallah Wallahu Akbar Allahu Akbar Walillahil Hamd.
  • Congratulate each other after the eid prayer with salam and say this prayer to each other;
            Taqabbalallahu Minna wa Minkum (May Allah accept my ibadah and yours and all of us).
  • Do not return from the Masjid from the same road you arrived with.
Eidikum Mubarak everyone and Taqabbalallahu Minna wa Minkum. Ameen

Whatever you're going through, you're not alone. i wish you peace and tranquility Well, the influx of new students in Near East University (NEU) this semester is considerably low compared to the previous semester as well as previous years. Different students or sources will give you distinct opinions on the reason why existing NEU students are  withdrawing or signing out as well as the reason why incoming new students have decreased in this semester.
